Chris Stanley is an American singer-songwriter and musician who brings a distinctive and powerfully passionate style. Born in Texas, raised in Washington, Chris captivates audiences with athletically rhythmic yet smooth and dynamic guitar, piano and vocals, and delivers a wall of sound whether playing solo or with his trio. It is a treat to hear Chris perform deliciously familiar classic 80s and 90s in his own style, drawing inspiration from the likes of Peter Gabriel, Marc Cohn, Dave Matthews, and more, while his own music blurs the lines between nostalgia and refreshingly new songwriting and has been captivating audiences around the Northwest. The iconic London Bridge Studio of Seattle witnessed the recording of Chris's self-titled EP, guided by producer Eric Lilavois. Released in February 2024, the EP boasts the standout single 'Pieces,' a collaboration with the talents of Seattle Symphony's Andrew Joslyn. Teaming up with renowned drummer Ben Smith and bassist Andy Stoller, recognized for their work with Heart, and whom accompanied Chris for his EP release in April 2024 at Seattle’s staple, The Tractor Tavern.
